Katie Phillips, MD

Dr. Phillips is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  She grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended medical school at the Ohio State University College of Medicine and then completed her residency training at the Harvard Medical School Otolaryngology Program.  Before returning to Ohio to join the University of Cincinnati, she completed a fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at Stanford University.


Her clinical focuses include a wide variety of rhinologic complaints including sinus disease, allergy and diseases of the anterior skull base.  She offers a wide range of nasal procedures including most commonly sinus surgery, septoplasty, inferior turbinate reduction and endoscopic approaches to the anterior skull base.


Her research interests include patient outcomes after treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis, acute exacerbations of sinus disease, understanding how technology can help our patients manage their symptoms and new treatments for sinus disease.
